I have lived in many spaces throughout my life, and let me tell you, that list is pretty extensive!
After moving out of my childhood home on my wedding day, my husband & I have lived in five different states, in a variety of abodes: apartments, older homes, a mobile home, a new home we had custom-built, a few fixer-uppers… and each one had a story of its own. Told its own story.
Not all of those stories were fairy tales, either.
What I have found amazing, however, is that of all the various “residences” I have called “home,” I can count on one hand the number of those spaces that remain fondly in my memory, like old friends.
Why?
